Hi Sdigroup, I posted a comment in the forums a while back explaining why we decided to use Real in the beginning and why we are still using it: we've tested different formats extensively, and the only format that is comparable to Real in terms of cross-platform compatibility, quality, and is streamable, is Windows Media File. Maybe one day we'll switch, but for now it's Real. The problem with mpeg: an equivalent quality file in mpg format is at least 3 times bigger than Real format. I'm sure that even folks on T1s wouldn't be happy having to download 100MB movies.

Regarding movie formats - please use an open standard, not some Microsoft-monopoly-extending-embrace-extend-extinguish-costly-lawyer codec.
